Montreal Expo 67 Passport

(June 8th, 2010 by )

I was rooting around in my parents’ basement some time ago and I stumbled on my dad’s souvenir passport from the 1967 Universal Exposition, the same one that gave the Montreal Expos their name (now known as the Washington Nationals). I haven’t really had the chance to ask him about his experience there, but after seeing this passport I now consider myself super interested in the 1967 World Expo. Anyway, take a look at this thing. The stamps on it are awesome.

I’m probably going to take a crack at recreating some of these stamps in vector form. Also maybe an Expo 67 post sometime soon as well.
